Lauryn Williams
Lauryn Williams is Director for Strategy in the Office of the National Cyber Director (ONCD), Executive Office of the President, where she drives White House efforts to bolster space system cybersecurity. Lauryn joined ONCD from the Department of Defense, where she served in the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Space Policy and led DoD efforts to better leverage commercial space capabilities and space industry outreach, as well as the intra-departmental working group to develop norms of responsible behavior in space. Prior to the Department of Defense, she served in the Department of Energy’s National Nuclear Security Administration and conducted extensive outreach to international partners on nonproliferation export controls, and was previously a Project Manager at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace. Lauryn received her bachelors degree from Stanford University and her Masters degree in public and international affairs from Princeton University.
