Joe Landon

Joe Landon is CEO of Crescent Space, a deep space infrastructure company that provides services to enable science, exploration and commerce on and around the Moon. Crescent leverages Lockheed Martin’s deep technical heritage and reliability in space with the speed and agility of a commercial services platform to deliver critical services for lunar missions.

Prior to launching Crescent, Joe was Vice President, Advanced Programs Development at Lockheed Martin where he led growth, strategy and R&D for Lockheed Martin’s Commercial Civil Space line of business. Joe previously served as CFO of Planetary Resources, a company that sought to expand Earth’s economy into the solar system through the development and use of resources found in space.

Joe is a member of the World Economic Forum’s Global Future Council on Space and an Associate Fellow of AIAA. He holds undergraduate and master’s degrees in engineering and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
